A Mission Born from a Firsthand Experience

Over a decade ago, Mesfin Tegenu, the founder of RxParadigm, walked into a 340B clinic unaware of the deep inefficiencies within  the system. Patients in dire need of medication were being asked to wait a week—simply because the system lacked the technology and operational efficiency to serve them better. The pharmacy was overwhelmed, the staff struggled, and the very people the program was meant to support were left waiting. He stepped in, helping the clinic streamline operations with better processes and technology.

Why 340B? A Purpose Bigger Than Business

The 340B program was designed to make healthcare accessible to those who needed it most, yet inefficiencies had led to over $20 billion in extra costs. Reforms are needed for manufacturers, payers, and covered entities to return the program to its intended purpose of serving patients.

RxParadigm was founded to fill this critical gap. By creating a neutral, agnostic 340B Clearinghouse, we are eliminating duplicate discounts, optimizing 340B identification, and restoring the integrity of the program.
